Sector 2: Hocheichen to Aremberg

Quiddelbacher Höhe

It is a gentle right curve in a high-speed section with large ups and downs. The right corner is immediately after the jumping spot, so it is preferable to approach to the left.

Flugplatz

This section is a jumping spot followed by a right corner. If you have a car with a large downforce or a car with a low vehicle speed, you can jump in as it is. As soon as you land after jumping, turn right and pinch the accelerator off or light brake. Depending on the car, it can be cleared fully. For high-performance cars with low-grip tires, landing is easier when the accelerator is off or a light brake is applied in front of the small jumping spot.
Some deceleration is also required in the next right corner. Care must be taken because it is easy to occurrence understeer.

Schwedenkreuz

This is the fast left corner. There are often patterns that go out of the course without being able to bend due to the fact that you are riding on speed and that you can easily lose your posture at the jump spot in front. If you have a low-speed car or a GT car, you can pass just by turning off the accelerator, but if you are not used to it, you should put a light brake.
After passing, the right corner Aremberg is waiting, so it is desirable to approach it to the left as soon as possible.

Aremberg

Here is the right corner where full braking from high speed is required.
Due to the fact that the high-speed section continued until just before and the slight downward slope, it is often happen to out of the course because of not able to slowdown.
Since it is tight, slow down firmly and corner as much as possible along the in. Be aware that if you hit the accelerator on, it will be easy to deviate from the course.
If the car has a width of about 1700 mm, it is easy to overtake because two cars can be lined up with some margin. If you are overtaking, do not use late braking and try to pass. It is effective to cover from the out side.

In order to know the true limit performances of cars, it is not enough just to use a general road, so it is necessary to check by driving on the circuit. On the other hand, circuits differ greatly from ordinary roads on the actual road surface conditions, so it is impossible to know the exact limit performance. Nürburgring Nordschleife (Green Hell) is a stage that has both of these characteristics. However, it is not practical to run any actual vehicle on a Nürburgring to evaluate the limit performance. Therefore, we will deliver the true appearance of the car to everyone by utilizing the simulator (GT Sport).
